Tri Monsters Camps (6-9yrs & 8-11yrs)

Spring and Summer programs to practice and play triathlon skills, drills and games.  Programs will prepare kids to participate (optional) in a Kids of Steel Kids Triathlon at the end of each camp.  Sessions will include bike handling skills, open water swim skills, and lots of practice with transitions (changing from swim to bike, and bike to run).  Pre-requisite abilities: to enjoy the program, participants should be able to: comfortably handle a two wheel bike, be active for an hour of movement, and comfortably put their face in the lake and swim without touching the bottom.


Spring session:

Mon & Thursday afternoons from 4:00-5:15pm

May 29 – June 22


Summer Session:

Monday to Friday mornings from 9:00-10:30am

August 28 – Sept 1


Locations will vary based on weather and facility/field conditions.

Participants must be current TriBC members.  Please visit to renew your membership for 2017.

Tri Monsters Club (11-19yrs)

A full season of cycling & triathlon practices for athletes who are interested in practicing or training for cycling and triathlon regularly throughout the season.  Practices include open water swimming, road cycling, running and transition skills.  Membership fee includes participation to all group practices as well as a team jersey (bike shirt).  Road cycling equipment is required.  If equipment is a barrier for your participation, please contact us, we are able to support a small number of athletes for a short duration with borrowed equipment to see if the team is a good fit.  Participants gain skills and fitness and work towards participation at a variety of Kids of Steel Triathlon events throughout the season.

*included for BPR squad / personally coached athletes.



Tri Monsters Club fees: $275/season.  Includes team jersey.  (Late registration after April 14th $305.  Jersey sizes may be limited for late registrants.)

Club add on swim: $105


Option to purchase additional clothing (Tri Suits, Bib Shorts, Jackets) to registered athletes.

Tri Monsters’ Balance Point Racing Team (16yrs+)

For Junior or U23 Triathletes who have committed to training and racing triathlon for the season and have long term goals to compete provincially, nationally, and internationally in triathlon or cycling.  Team registration includes personalized workout plans, individualized goal setting and season planning, training analysis, online training calendars and logs, group swims, as well as deeply discounted fees for Tri Monster club group practices, where athletes will be developed as leaders within the team.  Additional one on one and team practices are added as required.  Please contact Laura to discuss admission.
